Students in American History....the following are my classroom expectations!
1. Respect your peers, teacher, and school property.
2. Follow directions the first time given.
3. Watch 30 minutes of current events per week.
4. Score Proficient (above 70%) on each E.O.
5. Have FUN learning!

I like your expectations for your students. Short and to the point! Perfect! Have you had your students use CNN Student News? The last few minutes might be a little young for your guys, but my 4th graders loved watching it last year. It starts out with great world-wide news, which was typically over my kids heads!
